The life of a wonderful lady, in 200 photographs

In January 1963 I went to stay with my wonderful aunt Winifred Evans who had been widowed in December 1960, for a fortnight or so while I looked for a flat nearer my first job in London NW1O. We got on so well that I never left and were together for 54 and a half years, until Win died on the 20th July 2017 at the age of 96 .

I have put together this presentation of 200 or so photographs covering the life of this truly wonderful and truly exceptional lady, from the age of 16 in 1937 to 2017, for friends and relatives, in her honour, and with heartfelt gtratitude for so many wonderfully happy years in her company.

I have now added a .pdf version for anyone who does not use Power Point and being 32mb not 99mb it opens much more quickly than the PowerPoint version, though in my opinion the PPT version is rather nicer to use and has more options available

The width to height ratio of the photos may be wrong  in some cases the aspect ratio of this laptop display is incorrect. It is however easy to correct the aspect ratios in the Power Point version by clicking on any edge and dragging it until the photograph looks OK. But this cannot be done with the .pdf version.

The pdf and Power Point versions contain the same photographs. Both files are close to 100mb so may take time to download.

I also have digitised 8mm cine film from the 1950′s and 1960′s but cannot load them here for some technical reason.
